In the tradition of Beaujolais Nouveau, which is released on the third Thursday of November in Beaujolais, France and is approximately 1/3 of the entire crop in the region; Narmada will be releasing our first ever Chambourcin Nouveau.
This “primeur” is a young wine made from our 2017 Chambourcin harvest, instead of the traditional Gamay grapes.
We are excited to bring you this light, fruity, zesty, exuberant wine with low sulfites.
This wine owes its easy drinkability to as winemaking process called carbonic maceration, or whole berry fermentation, this technique preserved the fresh, fruity quality of the wine without extracting bitter tannins from the grape skins.
This wine will be tasted and purchased our anniversary weekend.
We recommend this wine to be consumed within 3 months and served at room temperature.
